what version are you using?
I assume starting ser is ok, which means the database connection was ok
at startup time. You can connect to mysql server via network socket and
use ngrep/wireshark to see if something goes wrong with the
connections. Also, maybe logs from mysql give hints.
What is the version you are using?
Although is not recommended to change From header because breaks
compatibility requirements from RFC, in case you have an old version,
the only option might be subst from textops module.
For newer versions look at uac module.
