Hey Nicholas,
This is a back-port patch for stable-3.4.y and stable-3.7.y (stable-3.0.y failed

Hello,

We saw some systems will NMI panic without this commit which is
missing from the stable. This is applied and built fine as it-is
for both stable-3.4.y and stable-3.7.y. I'll back-port it for
stable-3.0.y as well. How do you think about it?
Regards,
Hello Joerg,
Please help review this back-port patch for stable-3.0.y which just
modified the right code name back in the "old" time. :)
