Please let me know if I have understood it correctly.
Just like in example in struts documentation I map my ActionServlet to *.do. I have a
page someform.jsp whose logical name is say something.do.
All server side validations are performed in the corresponding Action class.
Now if some user

I followed the instructions and installed the struts-documentation.war in WSAD. The
pages all display and everything works fine, except that when I view the outstanding
task list (all the warnings and error messages) for that project there are over 3100

Ona side note, I have been
struggling with a struts component that seems simple, yet I am stuck and cant
understand it.
I found that I could not successfully deploy struts-example.war without first
deploying struts-documentation.war. Does this sound right or is it maybe something
specific to my servlet container (Servletmill from PowerTier)?

There's one other thread in the archive that references Servletmill.

I have the strus classes already in the classpath

file
I ask this because I cant figure out what struts is
doing when the ActionServlet is loaded. Below is my own printout using
weblogic. Notice how it calls init() twice
the first three:
initActions()
initInternal()
initDebug()
initApplication()
initMapping()
initUpload()
initDataSources()
initOther()
initServlet()
