thanks a lot for your answer, the solution you proposed worked, the
junction is now looking just fine. I however, manually changed the edge
geometry on the .edg.xml file.

The routing device is not randomized (at leas by default, but there is an
option for that). Instead it constantly updates travel times using current
speeds and then averaging. Since those speeds fluctuate from second to
second, fastest routes fluctuate as well. DUROUTER on the other hand
