to ensure that only valid trips are produced by randomTrips.py, set the
option --validate.
randomTrips.py is the reommended way to generated random traffic. If you
have further issues with it's operations, just ask.

Typically I use randomTrips.py to generate random traffic onto any map.
However, when observing and plotting information of vehicle id="0", SUMO
registers an error saying the edges are not connected for the vehicles'
(several vehicles) paths.
