I wonder whether anyone shares my thoughts about the current
proposals to make serious changes to UTC. There seems to be
every chance that the Leap Second procedure will be abolished.
At present UTC is kept within 0.9s of UT1 by means of the
occasional leap second. The proposal
During the last year the NASS Register of North American
Sundials has added over 100 dials. We now have a total of 511. We have also
added over 100 photos and illustrations to the Register for a total of
376.
