I've an old but still working properly computer with Windows XP SP3 32-bit
and JDK 7u80. I want to install the Freenet on this computer but I can't.
The Windows installer needs the .NET framework to be installed and I don't
want to install .NET on this computer. There is also a Java

You weren't forced to remove gij. You just had to tell your system to
use sun's java by default with the java-update-alternatives command.
Anyway, your problem looks solved, have fun !
