[freenet-support] Freenet 0.7 build 1094

2007-12-21 Thread Matthew Toseland
Freenet 0.7 build 1094 is now available. It's mandatory on Sunday. Please
upgrade. One major focus of recent builds has been to deal with the fact that
connections to seednodes were sending very big packets, which many firewalls
were dropping; this build should stop that. Also, we have lots of work on CHK
inserts by Robert, a German update, and various internal code tidying up, and
freenet-ext.jar #18 updates the database that backs the datastore, Berkeley
DB Java Edition (now owned by Oracle). Please report bugs as you find them to
the bug tracker, the mailing lists, IRC and Frost. Also note that I will be
around on Monday, but will probably take some time off after Christmas. We
weren't able to get the second alpha out for Christmas, but we will hopefully
put one out probably late January. Thanks all!

[freenet-support] Java memory

In wrapper.conf, wrapper.java.maxmemory sets the memory limit for the node.
wrapper.java.maxmemory=200 gives a max Java memory of 198 MiB (without doing
the math I'm guessing this is 200MB)

[freenet-support] Java memory

2007-12-21 Thread Marco A. Calamari

Hi,

my node seems to normally use 80% of java memory; when arriving to
 95% it almost freeze.

I found no trivial place in run.sh to raise the java
jvm memory. How this can be accomplished ?

Ciao. Marco

[freenet-support] Freenet 0.7 build 1095

2007-12-21 Thread Matthew Toseland
Sorry folks. Freenet 0.7 build 1095 is now available. The main reason for this
build (so soon after 1094) is to fix a bug that was preventing new nodes from
being initialised properly. It also includes a patch from ET on Frost for SSL
support for the web interface, FCP etc, and some minor fixes. Please upgrade
and continue to test. Thanks to Tommy[D] for finding this issue.
