[freenet-support] installing Freemail - short address
Hi there, in XP Pro: all worked fine up to installing a short address. I didnot have/take a chance to copy and paste the long address. When I type in the correct command Java hangs up after giving a long message stating it is installed, the command module doesnot progress to the next command line. The cursor blinks directly behind the message. What can I do about that? Thanks already, Bill. [freenet-support] installing with java 1.5.0 rc
I just completed a fresh install of XP and one of the last things on the list was Freenet. I had already installed the Sun JDK ver. 1.5.0rc, but the installer will not recognize it and so fails. I don't want to install an earlier version of java, but will if I must. Anybody have a work around?
