Re: no wifi on freerunner fso
I don't know if your kernel has the wlan-driver builtin or as module (try: find /lib/modules -name ar6000.ko) If it is shown, try modprobe ar6000. Then check dmesg | grep AR6000, does that give you some messages? Re: no wifi on freerunner fso
Same issues here. I haven't had working WiFi since I started using SHR a few weeks ago. I guess I thought it just wasn't working for the time being. I get nothing from either 'dmesg | grep AR6000' or 'cat /proc/net/wireless' So I guess others have working WiFi? Have you powered it up? Try to request it with dbus with a command like mdbus -s org.freesmartphone.odeviced /org/freesmartphone/Device/PowerControl/WiFi org.freesmartphone.Device.PowerControl.SetPower 1 BTW, I wish someonw could go back and fix the kernel driver so that the eth0 always shows up (regardless of the pwoered state of the actual device) and so that the device gets powered up/down as needed (e.g. via ifconfig eth0 up/down).
