with picolcd's. No response from him(her?), not even
through PM, so I'll try here.
Does anyone know how to get Lcdproc to work with picolcd's in combination with
pfsense?

Then you're looking in the wrong places :P.
It did not take me too long to find a serial-cross cable, but they are
definitely out there.
I found it at a place that specializes in cables (it sells only that), not
just computercables, but audio/video etc as well. Don't know if you have a
store
What is wrong with that guide that you are asking for an alternative? Looks
fine to me, but I'm new with IPv6 so I could be wrong...

IPv6 support does not get in pfSense till v2.1
pfSense itself does not offer support (yet), the underlying OS (FreeBSD 7.2
in my case) does :) -
I managed to get an IPv6 tunnel working in pfSense 1.2.3, while the clients
hooked up to my network can use that tunnel.

There is no support for N in pfSense.
Even if you can get you're N-card to work, it will be in G-mode.

There are drivers, they just don't support N. Other functionality works, if
you are lucky.

Which type of install did you do, quick/easy or custom? If the 1st, try
in the bios. And yes that would

Have you tried other cables and hardware connected to the other end? Instead
of cross, try straight cables or the other way round.
And set the ports on the other end manually to 10 or 100Mb might also be
something to try.
Maybe those ports don't support autosensing/autonegotiation, that can

You need a proxy just to open websites like pfSense.org and YouTube? Djeez,
glad I don't live in China... If the Dutch government did something like
that now, there would be riots.
That proxy is probably blocked, which explains the banned message.
