Mac exit newsgroup full screen

Can any one help? Running El Catp' on iMac and SeaMonkey. Some how, by accident, I made the mail / newsgroup window full screen and cannot get out of Full Screen. Whilst shift + cmc + F will toggle fullscreen on and off in the browser I cannot exit full screen on the mail and newsgroup window.
