Hi,
just replaced 2.46 with 2.48 (US, with DE language kit on top); same
extensions as before.
Crashed 3 times at accessing the very first mail/RSS message after
launch (macOS address book managed to pop up the "do you allow?" dialog
at the first one):

In that case, has anyone notified the maintainer of Ubuntuzilla that the
official release of 2.48 is now available? I would like to get back to
using that repository to update SeaMonkey as opposed to a manual install
every time an update comes out.

The previous version works fine, I can still read your posts even
without upgrading.
And with all the kvetching we've seen and done over the years about W3C
2 bad crashers in mail were fixed and some other things too. Also latest
mozilla levels for Firefox 51 and l10n. If you didn't run into problems you
can continue using it but I would upgrade.
Soon with the current infrastructure might mean anything between 3 weeks and a
few months :)
