Do you have a persdict.dat file in the slt folder of your profile? Two thoughts if it's not there... _run_ the spellchecker (rather than checking as you type) then see if there is an "add..." option on a word. Use a text editor (such as notepad) to create an empty persdict.dat file and see i

I have noticed when using the spell checker in Seamonkey, that when a mispelled word is encountered, the spell checker never gives any of my personal Dictionary options, just words from some generic dictionary file. Any ideas on how I can get my personal dictionary to give words as well
