How to set default reply behavior

I'm really glad to have this newsgroup here. I'm using SM 2.49.3 on a Linux Box. I am part of several email discussion groups. When I reply to an email, SM addresses the email just to the poster rather than the list. I know I can Reply All, but that sends two copies to the original poster.

Hello again. I can easily insert a graphic into an email, but I must check a box that says no caption needed. In Thunderbird, this choice is remembered, but not in SM. Any setting so I don't have to set this option each time? And any way to keep the download box from popping up each time I
