XML parsing error in SM v2.0.4.
Hello. I found another Web site(?) showing XML parsing error on http://cid-4e29184bbcf3e276.skydrive.live.com/browse.aspx/Ants/stough%20cyn ... It seems to only fails in SeaMonkey v2.0.4 in both my updated Windows XP Pro. SP3 and Debian/Linux. No problems with Debian's Iceweasel (aka Firefox), Windows' Firefox v2.0.0.20, and IE6. If I change SM's UserAgent to Firefox, then no problems. Is this an user agent issue? If spoofing the user agent string works, then it is no SeaMonkey bug, but a bug of the website, which is stupid enough to send invalid XML to browsers that don't identify themselves as Firefox! They serve something claiming to be XML but then it is not well-formed and violations of well-formedness constraints are fatal errors [1]. In contrast when served with HTML browsers do all kind of sorcery to render even the most horribly broken content. Just as workaround and convenience you could install the Open in Browser extension [2], then in such situations use the View - View as - Web page option which will make the page interpreted as HTML, instead of XML (XHTML). System W98se, SeaMonkey v 1.1.14, default download, and install 2/5/2009. No extensions. Today while trying to read news.
