I just had the pleasure to present at AmbiSym2011 in Lexington via
Skype, which was weird but fun.
In case anyone's interested, the paper and slides are available at

thanks :)
If I read correctly you did not use DRC (digital correction
for the 'room') and, if so, I wondered why :
- time pressure
- not as enamoured with it as before
- . . . ?
. . . !
there is no meaningful DRC to be done

Thanks for the paper reference!
Yes I was thinking of something along the lines of a ping-pond delay that
allows the user to control the ping-pong path (I like the ring of that) and
timing.

Hello list,
I would like to know what jack compatible systems are available on Linux
to spatialise a moving mono source in realtime with ambisonics
(including distance attenuation) that also provide some reverberation
cues.
I've tried spat3d in csound with a GUI - and while this spatialises the

That makes sense although it would be great to avoid forcing a user to have
to use a mono source as an input even if essentially it would end up doing
basically the same thing!
then please define what you want to do. of course you could also use

Thanks Jorn that seems a great idea - and I'm pretty sure spat3d allows
for simulations of early room reflections without the tail. I'll try
this now in combination with jconvolver. Are there other programs that
you can suggest to do the early reflection synthesis?
cheers,
