Everyone seems to be poor in maths, let me give it a try If what you say is correct i.e. 100 km = 62 miles 3.78 liters is .79 gallons Then 1 mile = 1.61 km and 1gallon = 4.78 litres therefore, 100km/3litres will be 33.33 km/litre which is 20.70 miles/ litre which further means 98.95 miles/gallon
