Had heard that HEET was pretty much Methanol. Bottle notes it contains methyl alcohol but I'm only worried that there is other crap in there as well. I have it from a pretty good source though that it's fine, esp for a quick 5 gallon test batch. Any thoughts or knowledge on HEET out there?

Newbie here... first post I don't have a diesel car (am thinking about it ) but do have an oil furnace. By coincidence the furnace cleaner guy is here today and I asked him if you can use biodiesel in place of home heating oil, which he said WAS diesel. I thought it was a different fuel
