Hi, I am actually a population activist, but I thought that you may be interested that the push for alternative fuels may come sooner than you think.
The new terrorism is essentially a dispute over oil (refer bin Laden's stated reasons for 9/11 - refer Bush's zeal to get at the Iraqi oil reserves). The solution: The world has to move on from oil. Leave the oil in the ground and pursue alternative forms of energy now. As long as the U.S. oil companies are seen as the rapacious exploiters of the Arab oil reserves the new terrorism is here to stay.
