Dear,
Alaska Air Cargo formally reviews its Fuel Surcharge each quarter. Jet fuel
prices have continued to rise this year and we are adjusting our Fuel Surcharge
accordingly.
Please note that effective Saturday, December 1, 2007, the Fuel Surcharge
assessed on all GoldStreak, Animal Express, Priority and General Air Freight
shipments in the Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air network will increase to
$0.14/LB USD from $0.10/LB USD.
Our Fuel Surcharge is based on our actual fuel costs and the short-term fuel
price outlook. Based on current fuel costs and forecast, we will increase our
Fuel Surcharge effective December 1, 2007. We will review the Fuel Surcharge
again in Spring 2008.
