Guys; The titration solution is water anyways so what difference is 10% water gonna make in the IPA? The water is always a problem cuz it makes the oil want to drop out and unless you've got good agitation I wonder how accurate the titration really is. I've been wondering what about using

I just checked the archives to make sure that denatured alcohol is suitable for titration and it appears to be. Anyway I used to buy quarts of 99% isopropyl alcohol at the local hardware store to use as a solvent to clean video heads. If this is the same stuff, I suggest you look in the paint

Hi, A little while back there was talk about 70% Isopropyl Alcohol verses 95%. I didn't see the answer as to if the 70% would work or not. I haven't been able to find anything more than the 70% in Rubbing alcohol. I want to do a Titration and need to know if it will work or not. Thanks
