Folks-
        I'm working on a ~ 40 gallon biodiesel reactor, and I have a question
regarding materials. I plan on using a Stainless Steel recirculating pump
for keeping the batch mixed during the reaction and removing the biodiesel
when it is finished. However, all the pumps that are in the $150-$250 price
range have Noryl(r) impellers. The question: can I get away with a plastic
impeller for long period (say about 5 years) or will it get attacked by the
methoxide/methanol solution.

Thanks!
- Matt
