the highest exchange ratios of the plant world. China
is now growing over a MILLION acres, mostly for
non-wood fiber newsprint with a lot of financial
backing from Japan.

I remember a description of a city built of diamond. Some sci-fi novel of 50
years ago but the point is removing CO2 from the atmosphere -- and I can't see
that happening without economic incentive. The technology doesn't exist yet I
fear.
