Thanks for the info on the GAS list at crest Keith, am on the digestion list
there as this is my main interest unfortunatly you can get onto too many and
go into info overload !!!
A Botuliform layflat is simply a thin wall plastic pipe in the shape of a
German Sausauge or horseshoe . Much like a plastic methane digester for low
solids digestion. In my case it will most likely be a piece of thick black
plastic builders film.(like used under concrete floors) 15 ft by 60 ft
(because thats the size of my unused shadehouse) with a transparent
greenhouse film the same size layed on top then welded right around the edge
and right up the middle except for the last four or five foot. if this is
layed out on a sand bed very level I can pump a stream of water in one end
and it will fill the layflat up to the level I decide to set the outflow at
at the opposite end. The up and back approach seems to work a lot better
than a straight run and also in most cases results in easier plumbing, and
hopefully the algae will love living in it!

Hope I can get prototype up and running later this week so in a month or so
may be harvesting algae.

Regards John
