I've gotten so into the habit of switching back before I get home that I hardly ever need the buzzer - it is just there if I happen to forget. Also, you do not need to switch back to diesel and purge every time you stop - basically just at the end of the day, or when you arrive at work, or any other time it's going to be left shut down for more than an hour or so (in warm weather - and about 20 minutes or so in the middle of winter).
