Although I can see large advantages in hydrogen as storage in stationary
power generation and military mobile applications, I see that it is going
to take a long time before we see the hydrogen economy for propelling
transport in general.

I think if you had no seals, it would not have fired up - no
compression.
You say it ran ok on the first go, then you shut it off and topped up
the fluid levelsany chance you overfilled the crankcase, getting a
false reading from the warm engine? Check the oil level again and

Having spent several hours this weekend rebuilding carburators on two
stroke engines, I'm quite hesatant to use BD as the oil component in the
fuel mix. There are a lot of little rubber parts in there and it's hard
to say what they're made of or how well they'd stand up to BD exposure.
I'd be
Yup, it works. The key is to have quite clean
oil (1.0 ml titration max) and no additives in
the ethanol besides water, up to 6%. I went
back to my old notes and found I was more
interested in being able to use 2.0 titr. oil.
Never even tried the recipes like this one:
100 ml mixed WVO/clean

We discussed some of the very few diesel options out there available to the U.S.

Hello Aidan and Edward
Last summer (winter for you) time I sent to a mechanic shop my
Fiat UNO DS with a model 127 A, 1.3 L diesel engine. It has his
piston rings and valve seats damaged by dust and mud of
my countryside roads.
After they finish, I had a milder problem like you describe,

To be sure, this is much different than some of the ways of
biofuelers, because
it involves super-expensive solar panels and lot of investment and
what-not, and
you have to have the roof or backyard space, or perhaps the space for a
windmill, or whatever.
Same basic principle though. And need

But are they actually imported? They all own each other these days
(with the exception of Honda), and I think we've had posts in the

American than your GM/Ford/Chrysler-whatever (aren't they made in
China these days?) (joke)

Eric,
I have the 1.6 L non turbo. I will be sure to tell the group how it goes.

I was going to mention that. But you did.
