Hello, new to group and havent made my first batch yet but may be able to help on this subject. As far as the equipment goes, on your way home from work drive around back of or go in and talk to someone at a auto repare shop. I have worked at a few and ALL of them had barrels of some sort seting out back. Pipe fittings and the like, go around new home construction sites and look around the dump pile (ask first). In every town (in the us, afaik) there is a "scrap yard" and i don't meen the auto scrap yard, most of the time if you ask they will let you walk around aimlessly looking at everthing. You may be able to find everything you need in one place and get it for $5.00us. Doesnt cost anything to look. It all depends on how "thrifty" you want to be. Myself, I will go up to just about anyone and ask just about anything. So even if they don't have what you need, ask them if they know of anyone/place to check. As for the wvo, that is not a problem. The meth and lye I'm still checking into. The meth shouldn't be a problem since i have a race shop up the road. The lye i am still shopping around for better prices :O) Hope this helps.
