You get to deduct if you use if for business purposes.. etc.. just like you could if you purchased a $50,000 electric car, or biodiesel burning car.. or whatever. Saying that it is a tax rebate for SUV purchases is tantamount to telling a lie. Just because you might not like SUVs is no excuse.
