A number of web sites, including http://swagger.io/docs, use frames. As
discussed in
https://www.nngroup.com/articles/why-frames-suck-most-of-the-time, this
prevents users from using links to reference given sets of information.
For example, I'm currently looking at the "Swagger Editor
Some sites use a single-page application that acts the same way. In this
case, the JavaScript would need to parse and react correctly to an entered
URL. It could then change the displayed URL in the browser and/or provide
a link somewhere on the page.
