Yep, these were sold at big discounts (usually 50%), you can see them in most catalogs. Typically they sold out remaining stock of items that just got out of print. As far as I know, there is no clear way of knowing if it's "real" or not. I've got a couple of ziplocks that I know are from SSI dire
