IIRC their signal beams about 315 degrees west. So from Okeechobee that would cover most of the middle and all of the western States. Up here in NJ (1000 miles away from the source and off the back of the beam) their signal was S9+40 with serious QSB. This page talks about their antennas

Hm, took a look at that second one. It's tooled up for 9 MHz but you'll notice that a lot of New England (including the extreme north of Maine - I actually live a fair bit north of Sheldon - hi, Sheldon!) is in the low to no signal contour. Assuming a reasonable similarity in radiation pattern

Would anyone have a map showing WRMI's radiation pattern for that broadcast (and the upcoming repeat?) I listened on the night of the 'fest and reception was less than optimal. I'm wondering if I might be too far north and east to be in the intended footprint. TIA, Lee.

That's it, sure enough - I'm over 70 degrees off from the main lobe of their pattern. Looks as if a lot of the rest of ECNA would be out of area, too. Thanks, Richard! Richard Cuff rdc...@gmail.com wrote: Lee, you may be right. I believe the bearing is 315 degrees; I ran an azimuthal

Lee, you may be right. I believe the bearing is 315 degrees; I ran an azimuthal map from Tom NS6T's website and that bearing would send the signal towards Topeka, KS and Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. http://www.dxzone.com/cgi-bin/dir/jump2.cgi?ID=22824 RC On Thu, Mar 5, 2015 at 8:51 AM,
