I envisioned a school not a university when I heard “school”. and that
therefore seemed out of the question.

The the most recent Hackers on Planet Earth conference was held at St. John’s
University and the student center proved to be a swell spot to be the center of
the event for exhibits
I mentioned we were not hidebound to a particular type of venue. I also
mentioned that our initial, Philadelphia chapter NASWA meeting was held at
a School.
Whether or not a minder is needed, is irrelevant to the discussion.
