I just scanned through the recent thread "moved to gentoo but can't
emerge synce" since it had the word "gentoo" in the subject :)
A couple of things emerged in my mind:
1. The official SynCE wiki is outdated wrt Gentoo
2. There are some Gentoo bugs which haven't had much attent
