I choose to be an optimist and think that it is a small number of tf
athletes that have to cheat to be World Class! I am not naive enough to
think that no one cheats, but prefer to think on a higher level, that hard
work pays off.

Thanks for the info. I would not think that that high a percentage of
athletes would say yes, knowing that they would die in five years, just to
win an Olympic gold medal! I would love to have one, but not at that cost!

Don't forget that the two samples are both to be tested before an athlete's
name is supposed to be published and we all know that that is not true.
People are releasing names before all tests have been run on all samples.

It appears that some states give their distance runners a break by running
the 3200 finals on Friday night and the 1600 finals on Saturday. In
California, they run qualifying heats in every event except the 3200 on
Friday night, and ALL the running finals on Saturday within a two and a
