should just try to finalize something that can handle additional tag values
without tearing the scab off of the tagging method each time - Whatever that
tagging method is.

I did not find anything on the Map Features regarding shop selling watches,
what is quite common both in Europe and South America (at least). Most of
them arenot shop=watch does not have a high occurrence in Taginfo:

Watches came out of use when people got mobile phones. The only remaining
reason to wear watches
FYI: Shops selling watches can still be found in Thailand although most are
probably sold in the watch department of the bigger department stores.
