Re: [Tagging] editing polygons in JOSM
2014-05-27 20:23 GMT+02:00 Tom Gertin tger...@gmail.com: I want to try to complete several polygon editing operations using JOSM. Anybody know if this is possible or how to accomplish these tasks in JOSM or any other free editor? 1. Clip a polygon using another polygon 2. Cut a polygon using a line if you need to do a lot of these operations, maybe QGis is an option for you, it supports editing OSM and supports boolean operations on Polygons. cheers, Martin ___ Tagging mailing list Tagging@openstreetmap.org https://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/tagging
Re: [Tagging] cleanup broken import fix
If I understand right you should probably ask imports@ not tagging@ about making bulk edits, even if they're to fix bulk edits! Best Dan 2014-05-28 21:53 GMT+01:00 malenki o...@malenki.ch: Recently I found some 10.000 (one of two changesets contained 38k) objects tagged like this:¹ | gnis:fcode=39004 | natural=water | nhd:com_id=146082168 | nhd:fdate=Mon Mar 06 00:00:00 PST 2006 | nhd:reach_code=18030012024071 | source=NHD | water=lake;pond They were imported by nmixter and in v1 were tagged like this: | ele=0.0 | gnis:fcode=39004 | gnis:ftype=LakePond | natural=water | nhd:com_id=146082168 | nhd:fdate=Mon Mar 06 00:00:00 PST 2006 | nhd:reach_code=18030012024071 | source=NHD WorstFixer removed ele 0.0 and honoured his name by converting gnis:ftype=LakePond to water=lake;pond Has anyone objections for removing water=lake;pond and also the other proprietary data? I'd think | natural=water and | source=NHD (and in case it is there) intermittent=yes should be sufficient See also: https://github.com/openstreetmap/iD/issues/2237 Regards Thomas ¹ example: https://www.osm.org/way/73966050/history ___ Tagging mailing list Tagging@openstreetmap.org https://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/tagging ___ Tagging mailing list Tagging@openstreetmap.org https://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/tagging
