Hi All,

I've removed the none-existing email from my gpg key, and updated to the
key server:

$ gpg --send-key $fingerprint
gpg: sending key 885FDAB331FED834 to hkp://keys.gnupg.net

@Sergio, will sent you an encrypted message separately.

There's one in my neighbourhood; agreed, it's pretty good.

The frequent problem with Ramen places is that they often seem to expect
tables to be filled/reserved, which isn't entirely compatible with how our
folk "slouch in gradually" :-(

How was the busyness of Kinton? It could be several kinds of good, and yet
somewhat incompatible :-(

Well IPv6 has worked well under LEDE for a long time for me. It certainly
does work with teksavvy. DHCPv6-PD seems to do the job well.

[GTALUG] does anyone know how to make CentOS 7's PPPoE client handle IPv6?

2018-04-10 Thread D. Hugh Redelmeier via talk
I have a DSL account with Teksavvy. They claim to support IPv6 on DSL.
https://help.teksavvy.com/hc/en-us/articles/205837513-IPv6

I'm using a CentOS 7 box with Roaring Penquin PPPoE to connect.

That's worked fine for a couple of years. But only for IPv6.

I would like to enable IPv6 because BIND, my nameserver, is trying to
access some IPv6 things and is failing.

Does anyone know how to enable IPv6 in this situation?

Almost as good would be convincing BIND that it should not talk IPv6.
I'll need to do this anyway on another gateway at another location.
It is hooked up via an ISP that doesn't support IPv6.

It must be today because it is part of the normal GTALUG meeting and
that is today. The meeting is always on the second Tuesday of the

BTW, some of us will be meeting for dinner at Kabul Express. 18:00.
All are welcome.

Hi All,

Just got a reply from Sergio Durigan Junior that he'll be there in the
meeting tomorrow, and able to sign our keys afterwards.

If you unsure what to do/bring, check out the "signing-party" package &
the  "gpg-key2ps" tool Sergio mentioned below, and also,

https://www.debian.org/events/keysigning

HTH and hope to see you all tomorrow.

Hi Rouben,

I sent an e-mail recently about doing a keysigning party at the next
meeting, which will be on the 13th.  One more person manifested
interest, and now you also said you would like to do it.  That's
great.
I think we should look for each other during the next meeting
(or maybe
do an announcement after the meeting is over but before going to the
pub?) and do the signings.

As has been said already, each person who is interested in
getting their
keys signed MUST bring paper slips containing information about
their
keys (on Debian GNU/*, you can install the "signing-party" package,
which comes with the "gpg-key2ps" tool), and a government piece of
identification (if you can bring two pieces, even better).

We can do the signing either in the classroom or in the pub,
whatever is
more convenient.

Cheers,
