Yes, you have to go to add remove programs. Sometimes, particularly
with norton and such products, you need to get their special remove
program.

A reminder of what I am using, Windows 7, Office 2010 with the latest WE.
My husband put Norton on my computer and then I could not get attachments.
Chris suggested I get rid of Norton, which I did and get AVG, which again I
did. However, I still cannot open the attachments in email, but I can
