This would be nice. The only way I see problem if core things in Window
Eyes quit working. I also doubt you will get good support after a while
from VFO.

Hello Listers,
It looks like many of us would be interested in such an undertaking. I do
hope that someone will be able to take up Rod's idea and set up a website
to house all the old apps as well as new ones. Who knows, if apps could be
added to the list

Thank you for all the help that you've been, over rthe years. I'm using Jaws,
but there are many times that I revert to W.E. for something that is familiar.
Looking forward to rejuvenating some of my aps.

Yes, it is very gratifying to see all of this support for Window-Eyes, and my
thanks for all the appreciation expressed to me.
I'm taking it all in, and it remains for me to work out the technical details,
which shouldn't take too long.
Please continue to spread the word.
Wow! It sure looks like there a reasonable lot of hangers on for WE.
Just because we are not all talking doesn't mean we have left, grin.
It's nice to see so many familiar names.

Well, I'm not sure exactly. I guess I'm wondering how to get past all
those umlauts. I assume the umlauts have to do with the inability to
read what is actually in the attachment.

Rod,
I would definitely be interested in personal website you set up to get
updates for Window Eyes. Though I have downloaded Jaws I only use it in
Microsoft outlook because I find it better than window eyes. Otherwise I
use Window eyes for all other sights.

Is your question about all the umlauts and such or just about opening and
reading an Excel file?

Hi Rod,
As you can see, (or hear) I am about a day late in reading messages.
Yes, Having an app person around would be a good thing. I am still using

or doesn't do what I want, I use WE until I must reset my pc again. I
Hi rod
I am definitely interested in anything that would keep Window-Eyes
working optimally. Sad that VFO won't even let you do that but they
probably want us all to give up W-E and use jaws. Maybe someday for me
but not yet.
thanks for thinking of us.

Thank you for confirming this.

Chief Dennis, on groups.io, isn't it possible to upload files for members to
gain access to? If I'm close to being right, perhaps Rod's apps could be
uploaded to the groups.io list you created for Window-Eyes and we can all go
there and grab them! What do you think sir?
Sincerely,
Olusegun
John, you are absolutely right! Sometimes, once a company has been bought
and sold, the previous owner(s) may not even be allowed to ever start
another business in the same market. It all depends on how the lawyers word

Absolutely and if Window-Eyes comes back, I hope the backing and Doug will
be able to aggressively market it. Doug feels betrayed by AI Squared and

Clearly I have no idea of any undertakings that Doug might have made when he
