Re: Prompt
Hi Mike, I am inclined to suggest that you somehow reset the form. The easiest method may be to run down to the bottom of the page and see if you can find a reset form button. Alternatively, try to return to the page From a clean link, that is, not from a bookmark that you may have saved. This latter suggestion might be a bit more complicated, but the idea is to get the website to serve you up a brand spanking new copy of the form. Hello I am having a problem after running into difficulties on a Web Site. Whilst trying to register on the site which included typing in my county. Now WE keeps saying northamptonshire as I tab or move up and down links. I must have typed at the wrong time or in the wrong place. How do I stop it? Re: Getting Rid of the UAC Prompt
why do you want to do this? with u a c turned off you might as well use x p. you would be removeing the second layer of protection against viruses that xp didn't have. you can not just turn it off for one program. when you turn it off it is for every program you are running. if its on the computer or on the net. a few times now the u a c popped up when the computer was idle on the desktop with no programs running and i was able to deny access and stopped a virus from installing. without u a c i wouldn't know i was about to be infected. so you will have to wait for someone else to tell you how to turn it off. i will not be responsable for your computer getting infected. -Original Message- From: Matthew Chao via Talk Sent: Tuesday, July 26, 2016 7:03 AM To: Window-Eyes Discussion List Subject: Getting Rid of the UAC Prompt Hi, Folks. I am trying to delete an undeletable file. The fix suggests going to the command prompt by clicking Start and typing cmd. If I do that, I am in the search box of the Start Menu which really doesn’t help. Should I go to the Run dialogue? Command prompt anomalies
Hi listers: I upgraded to Windows 10, running WE 9.2. The upgrade went fine, but, after Window-Eyes came back, it would not read properly in Command Prompt. First, I removed the GW Micro folder under c:\users\MyUserName\appdata\roaming and let it re-do everything. This didn't produce any noticeable change. I then uninstalled Window-Eyes and re-installed, and, suddenly, Command Prompt was speaking correctly. This was with the trial version. I'll see if it does this with the Office version.
