RE: AutoComplete in Windows 10

2017-05-18 Thread Joseph Norton via Talk
Hi:

I’m going to assume you got your authorization number via Email.

It should be a string of 20 letters and numbers.

The easiest thing is to copy the 20-digit authorization number to the clipboard.

Then, go into the JAWS Window with Insert-J, then, select the help menu and
under that, select Update Authorization.

Hi Tony,
If I am in Jaws demo mode, how do I enter the serial number after it's
installed?

Hi, I'm not sure how to disable that, but if you just keep typeing it will
eventually get what you want. I'd like to turn of the auto complete also.

Hi, Folks. I'm trying to get into a particular folder when I hit the
Windows Key. When I start typing, however, it goes or suggests
something I don't want. How do I disable this feature? Thanks in
advance.--Matthew Chao

When I'm typing in the windows 10 search area, in the start menu, and I'm
typing downloads for example. Sometimes, it will bring up the store, and
sometimes it will bring up downloads. If you're getting multiple suggestions,
you can just use your arrow keys to navigate them.
Thanks,
Darrell
