Kathy, Press ctrl-alt-left arrow until you hear the word volume. Next, press ctrl-alt-down arrow to move the volume down to a lower level or ctrl-alt-up arrow to move the volume higher. If you want to change the volume and have it stay at that level, all the time, open your control panel with control - backspace, go to screen, then voice. Tab to volume and adjust the volume. Then tab to save settings and hit enter. Then, the volume won't revert, when you re-boot. Hope this helps. I think that the issue of screen rotation was addressed in the latest version of WE because the keyboard is hooked at a lower level.
