Hello, how do I copy and past text like from an article in the Washington
Post, e.g. I just want to send just the text of an article. Does the
insert key layout have to be enabled, or do I have to press f 8 to do this?

Charles, go to the start or end of the text, hit f8, arrow up or down
until you get to the other end, hit f8 and then, the enter key. Hit
control-c to copy to the clipboard. There are other options but this
should get you started.
