Hallo allerseits,
meine Mitgründerin und ich sind noch auf der Suche nach einer dritten
Person, die mit uns, finanziert durch ein Stipendium, für mindestens
ein Jahr an einem gemeinsamen Projekt arbeiten möchte. Da OSM in diesem
Projekt eine zentrale Rolle spielen wird, schreibe ich an diese

Hi,
is anybody aware of 3rd party APIs that are integrated into the OSM
database? An example for what I mean would be a mapped car park with an
API link added as a tag that offers functionality such as retrieving the
number of available parking spots. Another example would be uic_ref

Hello,
sorry for cross-posting here, but while I wanted to address the
OSM-community in general, I think this is probably the right list for
people interested in this topic.
I'm hosting an event about the project[1] I've been working on since
September. It's mostly about schematic maps for

Hi,
During sign up for an OSM account, the user is presented with the
Contributor terms [1]. There's an additional checkbox "In addition to
the above agreement, I consider my contributions to be in the Public
Domain (what's this?)". The "what's this?" link points to the
osmfoundation wiki[2].

Hi,
I would like to announce that I recently published a first version of a
new open source tool called Jeography. It is basically a tile viewer
with an optional offline search module for places (database required,
can be downloaded and built with a CLI tool). It also offers some
functionality
Hi,
i'm developer of a linux-tool for viewing the map (http://gosm.sf.net).
This tool works with tiles from mapnik, osmarender and cyclemap and has
a feature for displaying a map-key on the left.
I found a map-key for mapnik
(http://www.openstreetmap.org/key?layer=mapnikzoom=14), but i could

Hello,
I'm developing a tool for viewing the open streetmap in a nice
standalone gtk-application for linux.
A first release is available for download at http://gosm.sf.net . It's
licenced under the terms of GPLv3.
Currently, as a linux user you can just download the app and try it out
