FAQ



Why did you do this?

I wrote scripts to joined them myself to lessen the impact
of doing a large join on Lambertus's server.  I've also
cut them in large longitude swaths that should fit conveniently
on removable media.

Can or should I seed the torrents?

Yes!!  If you use the .torrent files, please seed.  That web
server is in the UK, and it helps to have some peers on this
side of the Atlantic.

Why is my map missing small rectangular areas?

There have been some missing tiles from Lambertus's map (the
red rectangles),  I don't see any at the moment, so you may
want to update if you had issues with the last set.

Why can I not copy the large files to my new SD card?

If you buy a new card (especially SDHC), some are FAT16 from
the factory.  I had to reformat it to let me create a >2GB
file.

Does your map cover Mexico/Canada?

Yes!!  I have, for the purposes of this map, annexed Ontario
in to the USA.  Some areas of North America that are close
to the US also just happen to get pulled in to these maps.
This might not happen forever, and if you would like your
non-US area to get included, let me know.

上記やってみましたが、現象は変わりませんでした。

最新版の10797でも変化なしですね。何だろう?

Ja, jeg ser at det nu er på GitHub. Det gør jo det hele meget nemmere.

Men der mangler vist noget. Hvordan kaldes php-scriptene?

Jo, ta diskuse se rozhorela u toho Herrmann-ova postu na OSM. Říct "někteří
nesouhlasí" je dost slabý výraz - i autor to původní vyjádření zmírnil. (V
následujícím postu řeší využití OSM dat a autonomních dronů při záchranných
operacích - zjevně mu nechybí fantazie, proč ne, od toho konečně ty blogy a
diskuse pod nimi jsou).

Mapa signálu je medle úplně jiný *druh* projektu než OSM, a do OSM nepatří;
nicméně libo-li komu, existuje OpenCellID.org , která se zabývá právě tím.

Zdar,
zkus ten tracer odinstalovat, smazat ten .jar soubor z .josm adresáře a znova 
nainstalovat.

Pokud to nepomůže, tak musíš počkat. Teď jsem mimo a pár dní se k tomu 
nedostanu. Ale než jsem odjížděl, tak to fungovalo.

pointInfo, jts, ejml, reverter vyžadují verzi JOSM 10580 a pokud je chci 
používat ať aktualizuji JOSM

po odklikání hlášek se mi spustí JOSM ale nefunguje zde modul tracer LPIS
modul Tracer RUIAN se zdá, že funguje
modul tracer RI funguje rovněž

Co mám dělat, abych mohl zprovoznit modul tracer LPIS

[OSM-talk] successful test of aerial photography from a folding canoe

Cities and towns are usually located near water bodies. So the idea was 
to use a foldable canoe as a mobile platform to launch a quadcopter for 
aerial photography.


I transport the canoe Ally Expedition 18 on a back seat of a car. It 
takes about 15 minutes to assemble this canoe.


As you can see in video I installed two Ally outriggers with frame 
extension for stability. These outriggers were actually not necessary 
for flying as the canoe is stable enough.


Calibration, initialization, three takeoffs, and three landings were all 
successful. I used Release By Hand technique for all three flights.

Aerial images and videos could be uploaded to a respective Wikimedia 
category, which is then connected to the OpenStreetMap via wikipedia, 
wikidata, or wikimedia_commons tag. Oblique low-altitude photographs and 
videos could be quite useful for 3D mapping.

Il sardo è parlato in Sardegna quasi tanto quanto l'italiano, ma per motivi
geopolitici (la Sardegna dopotutto fa parte dell'Italia) e legislativi, a
parer mio si debba usare il tag name nel seguente modo: name =
nome_italiano/nome_sardo, in modo invertito rispetto a quella odierna.

Si, conosco bene quella cartina e già mi sono espresso specificatamente per
quei luoghi con le apposite tag da utilizzare :)

L'errore di fondo di questa e delle precedenti discussioni è confondere il 
bilinguismo con la doppia denominazione dei toponimi. Sono due piani diversi e 
non hanno necessariamente correlazione

- Un toponimo ha quasi sempre almeno due nomi, uno stabilito dall'autorità 
(dunque certo e principale), e l'altro nell'idioma locale (lingua o dialetto 
non ha importanza).

- Una certa porzione di territorio, piccola o grande che sia, può essere 
riconosciuta meritevole o meno di tutela dal punto di vista linguistico, ma ciò 
non influisce sull'esistenza della variante linguistica del toponimo, che 
continuerà a esistere finché rimane nell'uso.

Questi due piani non devono essere confusi: è cioè sbagliato dire che siccome 
c'è il bilinguismo, allora i toponimi devono contenere entrambe le 
denominazioni.


Non ha importanza il livello più o meno ampio di tutela della minoranza 
linguistica (insegnamento scolastico, cartelli stradali, uso della lingua negli 
atti ecc. ecc.) se non si spinge anche a modificare il toponimo; esiste un 
procedimento specifico, imposto dalla Costituzione e dagli Statuti Speciali, 
che appunto prescinde dal livello di tutela.


Per esempio, in Valle d'Aosta, regione bilingue riconosciuta a livello 
costituzionale, le denominazioni ufficiali dei toponimi non sono bilingui (pur 
esistendo i nomi italiani), perché così si è stabilito quando sono stati 
cambiati i nomi dei comuni nel 1946 (ora la denominazione è quasi sempre quella 
francese, tranne Aosta che rimane in italiano; l'unico caso bilingue è la 
località di Breuil-Cervinia).

La provincia di Bolzano è parimenti costituzionalmente bilingue ma qui si è 
imposto che i toponimi dovessero avere la doppia denominazione (art. 8 dello 
Statuto: Le Province hanno la potestà di emanare norme legislative nelle 
seguenti materie: 2) toponomastica, fermo restando l’obbligo della bilinguità 
nel territorio della Provincia di Bolzano

Nelle altre regioni con minoranze linguistiche la legge ha stabilito delle 
forme di tutela, compresa l'adozione delle forme locali dei toponimi, ma non si 
è intervenuto a disciplinare i nomi istituzionali delle località, che rimangono 
quelle preesistenti.


Il procedimento di modifica delle denominazioni, per le regioni a statuto 
ordinario, è previsto (con la riforma del titolo V - in precedenza si 
interveniva con legge statale) dall'art. 133 della Costituzione: La Regione, 
sentite le popolazioni interessate, può con sue leggi istituire nel proprio 
territorio nuovi comuni e modificare le loro circoscrizioni e denominazioni.

Gli statuti speciali avevano già la stessa regola, dunque adesso sono 
parificati alle regioni ordinarie(identico l'art. 45 Statuto Sardegna: La 
Regione, sentite le popolazioni interessate, può con legge istituire nel 
proprio territorio nuovi comuni e modificare le loro circoscrizioni e 
denominazioni.)


Da questo punto di vista la provincia di Bolzano è meno tutelata perché 
vincolata: non potrà ad esempio stabilire toponimi solo in tedesco o solo in 
italiano, mentre le altre regioni non hanno questo vincolo.

Se in Sardegna, nel caso specifico (ma anche in Piemonte o nelle Marche), si 
volessero cambiare i nomi dei comuni sostituendoli con quelli della lingua 
locale (o prevedendo la doppia denominazione), nessuno lo impedirebbe. Del 
resto ci sono già toponimi totalmente o parzialmente non italiani: quelli 
francesi della Val d'Aosta e del Piemonte, quelli sardi che non differiscono 
dal nome ufficiale, ma anche Giardini-Naxos e Vibo Valentia.


Quindi se volete i nomi in sardo, non cambiateli Google Maps o Osm, cambiateli 
davvero !

Ciao e grazie della risposta (intanto si torna on-topic). 

Io comprendo pienamente il volersi uniformare a terzi che hanno
un'ufficialità ancora più solida riguardo il bilinguismo (e di questo
invidio il Trentino-Alto Adige), ma siccome l'italiano rimane la lingua più
usata in Sardegna rispetto al sardo rimango della mia opinione riguardo le
formule dei tag.

Non avendo mai letto quelle discussioni (anche perché sono mappatore da metà
2015) ovviamente non posso dire la mia in modo COMPLETAMENTE DEFINITIVO, la
mia opinione appunto è ancora un po mutevole, altrimenti non seguirei questa
discussione. Però rimango generalmente ancora dalla parte di fayor.

Riguardo la discussione di per se comunque, da ormai varie pagine sta
prendendo una piega molto tecnica ed approfondita; e per un principiante
come me, rispetto ad altri più esperti magari, viene un po difficile seguire
tutto xD
Preferisco intervenire in situazioni specifiche e dire la mia da sardo e da
mappatore, in quest'ultimo caso nel comparto tecnico ovviamente, ma in modo
superficiale.

Tutti i registratori che ho trovato hanno questa caratteristica, che nel mio 
caso è un problema.
Io vorrei lanciare il programma premendo il pulsante delle cuffie, tramite il 
programma headset button controller.
Dopo circa 3 secondi la registrazione dovrebbe interrompersi automaticamente, 
così daai non dover premere 2 volte il pulsante.

[OSM-talk-fr] Osmose-QA : màj intégration de données

Bonjour,

Une grande partie des propositions d'intégration de données d'Osmose-QA 
mettent maintenant automatiquement à jour leur données OpenData depuis 
le producteur lors que c'est possible.


À noter que pour l'instant l'attribution ne suit pas automatiquement la 
source de données.


Certains on remarqué un bug sur des propositions d'intégration proposant 
d'intégrer des objets déjà présent, c'est maintenant corrigé.


Il y avait déjà trois partie pour les propositions d'intégration :
- objet dans OSM mais pas en OpenData
- objet en OpenData mais pas dans OSM
- proposition amélioration d'un objet OSM avec des info OpenData
Il y a maintenant une partie de plus :
- proposition de mise à jour d'un objet OpenData déjà dans OSM avec une 
nouvelle version de l'OpenData


Cette nouvelle fonctionnalité ne concerne que : monument historique, 
poste, école, transport en commun (partiel), recyclage (partiel), 
parking (partiel), voiture et vélopartage.


Le processus à également était améliorer pour pouvoir proposer de 
l'intégration dans les DOM, bien que maintenant techniquement faisable 
c'est n'est pas encore en place. Mais ça va arriver.

und wenn ich die Startdatei doppelklicke, kommt nicht mehr der
Startscreen von IcedTea, sondern „JAVA Oracle“.

Ich fand es ein bisschen zu frickelig. Sonst laufen alle Updates glatter.

takze z tohoto pohledu OK, pak zjistim jestli tam neni zrada v tom
mereni vzdalenosti. Kdyztak kod je na
https://github.com/tkasp/OsmHiCheck kdyby se na to chtel mrknout nekdo
se zkusenostma s postgre a prostorovyma vecma.
