The audience plays a major role in the presentation too! The presentation to teenagers with little to no mapping experience vs GIS professionals would be vastly different for instance. So consider your audience as well as your 'style'. Some basic rules for teaching: Tell them what to do first .

My belief is that OSM-UK should have readily available teaching materials that are easy to do adapt to various conferences and meetups so that we can spread the word. That could be good, although each person has a different style of presenting so probably builds up their own deck of slide decks.
