Really its done? nice I just drove by here today on my way to batangas,
too bad you couldnt drive down it, maybe perhaps if you had a motorcycle

Any site that compares loggers vs the garmins and what not etc? In terms
of accuracy or something?
So I could get one of these bluetooth devices, tape it to the top of my

How bout navigation systems that use OSM, arent there a few? Perhaps

Maybe for future planning this, we could solicit donations from inns on
the island or from Sun Cruises. I think this is the list of places:
(1) Corregidor Inn - by far the best accomodation but the most expensive.
(2) MacArthur's Cafe - near the Lorcha dock on the north side of
Bottomside.

ok had a look, I dont have that much tracks in Tagbilaran but those
roads match my GPS tracks, compared to the actual roads in OSM which are
a bit off. So so far looks good.
Looks like arivac has a lot more road data than OSM so it shouldnt be
hard to preprocess it.

Does anyone know of a java or Blackberry app that can upload my tracks
straight to OSM. I can't find time to map at home but when I'm out I
sure could track my travels and input POI's (mapzen for iphone). Meron

Yes I think ideally How-To articles and such guides should go on the
Wiki, maybe the blog can then link to it, but since the wiki is our

Hmm would there be an appropriate venue that needs mapping around metro
manila for mapping, something more accessible to everyone
and one that would have some commercial or public significance but not
be in an area with lots of tall buildings like makati.
Was about to do this when I realized, if I go up Skyway Magallanes and
then out NAIA 3, I get charged PHP85 for that short distance :)

I wanted to create an online PHP application using OSM data but not the
simple slippy map type, this one would require manipulation of the raw
osm data, and like adding points of interest etc from a database. Is
there anyone here who has the skills and is looking for some work?

I have a BB Bold 9000 and was wondering if anyone had some suggestions

Just want to clarify the costs of setting up a nonProfit organization
are not prohibitive, it is only the foundation type which requires a 1
million peso bank deposit, but a type of Misc. Activities club or
business non profit org has no large fees or requirements. Paperwork is
numerous
