Martijn,
This is quite an achievement and I, for one, thank you for your ingenuity.
Beers on me, next time we meet!
Do you have any metrics/stats on the MapRoulette tasks? Like, how many
errors at the beginning, how many contributors, how long it took to
eliminate the errors? and so on? That
Holy shit. This is awesome. 70,000 connectivity errors. In how much time?
Something like three months?

Hi all,
We've seen some great progress from MapRoulette users fixing the
almost 70,000 connectivity errors in the US.
Less, we started the connectivity challenge late November of 2012.

Some folks were looking at connectivity errors systematicallyfrom early
July, and things accelerated substantively when Martijn released an MR
challenge.
It's likely that nearly 100K connectivity errors were cleared last year
within the US (remember those horrible county boundaries ;-))
On Thu,
Martijn, I have an idea for a new MapRoulette project and want your opinion on
the idea. How about highways that intersect motorways (w/ or without a point
there)? I know several rural motorways here in the US still don't have bridges
added for either the crossing highway or the motorway
Likewise for highways crossing waterways; there are plenty of places where there is neither a bridge nor tunnel where the two intersect. More subtle would be also looking for layer problems where two ways cross and there is a bridge or tunnel, but there are no layer tags. --ceyockey-Original
