As I said in a previous post, it's working fine here on Windows 10 no 
matter how I select text. The problem is that the selected text (at 
least according to the Window-Eyes cursor and mouse) is not highlighted 
and does not change color. So Window-Eyes has no way of knowing that 
it's selected.


I never noticed it because I never use Wordpad. I notified the 
Window-Eyes developers of the problem.

Hi Larry,

It sounds like some other software is preempting those controls.  I 
know some video drivers use the alt arrow keys to rotate the screen, 
but I haven't run into any that use the shift arrow keys for 
anything.  That's something to look into though.

Hi Larry,

I'm wondering it you have word wrap turned off, since this may affect cursor
tracking.
Word wrap should really be on for best results.
